Membership

4 For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, 5 so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

Romans 12:4-5

We believe in a committed membership in our church family and are unified by Christ through common belief and practice. Because we love and take our membership seriously, we have a 5-step process for confirming our Membership Commitment and becoming a member. Click on the links below to find out more and feel free to contact us with any questions!

  1. JOIN A GROUP

The first step to joining our church family is joining a Community Group where you can walk out your faith in real relationships alongside other believers. Community Groups is where we get the chance to love and serve one another as we seek to live as missionaries together.

  2. MILL CITY CLASS

Each quarter we hold a Mill City Class where we have the chance to walk through our core values and membership commitment together. Mill City Class is a great place to ask questions and learn how we approach membership in our church family.

  3. APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP

Once you are a part of a Community Group and have been through Mill City Class, you can apply for membership. This short application helps us know your interest and gives us an opportunity to set up a meeting with one of our pastors to answer any final questions and get to know you better.

  4. MEET WITH A PASTOR

Once you have applied for membership we will set up a time for you to meet with one of our pastors. This meeting will give you a chance to ask any questions you have about our doctrine or how our church functions. This meeting will also serve to help us better get to know you and your walk with Christ.

  5. GROUP CONFIRMATION

Once you have committed to membership you will get to celebrate and confirm this in your Community Group. This is a special time for the members of your group to come together and celebrate your entrance into the membership of our church family.
